1. Heating time setting
You can set up to nine heating times per day
with the product. Heating times can be set
individually for each day or for specific blocks
(e.g. all working days, all weekends) or for the
entire week.
• Press the ‘OK’ button (1e) to enter the setting.
The display shows ‘ ’.
• Rotate the dial (1f) to select the day/block
to be set and confirm your selection with the
‘OK’ button.
The following heating phases are preset:
• First phase: 00:00–06:00,
Energy-saving temperature 17.0°C
• Second phase: 06:00–09:00,
Standard heating temperature 21.0°C
• Third phase: 09:00–17:00,
Energy-saving temperature 17.0°C
• Fourth phase: 17:00–23:00,
Standard heating temperature 21.0°C
• Fifth phase: 23:00–00:00,
Energy-saving temperature 17.0°C
1. The display shows the selected day/
block (1m). If you want to set an individual
programme for a block, select the corre-
sponding entry with the dial and confirm the
selection with the ‘OK’ button.
2. Set the first energy-saving temperature and
confirm the selection with the ‘OK’ button.
3. Set the start of the first energy-saving time and
confirm the selection with the ‘OK’ button.
4. Set the first standard heating temperature and
confirm the selection with the ‘OK’ button.
5. Set the start of the first standard heating
temperature and confirm the selection with the
‘OK’ button.
6. You can then set further energy-saving
temperatures or standard heating tempera-
tures and their start times. If you do not want
to make any further individual settings, confirm
the display with the ‘OK’ button. The display
returns to ‘
’ after entering the fifth heating
phase.
7. To set additional days/blocks, proceed as
described in points 1–6.
2. Date and time
You can set the time and date individually.
Press the ‘OK’ button and set the menu items
year, month, day, hour, minute in succession
using the dial. Confirm each setting with the
‘OK’ button.
3. Summer/winter time
Rotate the dial to switch the function ON or OFF.
Confirm the setting with the ‘OK’ button. When
‘ON’ is set, the product automatically switches
between summer and winter time.
4. Open window detection
Rotate the dial to switch the function ON or OFF.
Confirm the setting with the ‘OK’ button. When
‘ON’ is set, the product detects a rapid
temperature drop in the room. To save heating
costs, the temperature is turned down and the
display shows the symbol (1l).
5. Temperature adjustment
If the current temperature in the room differs
from the set temperature, you can adjust the
‘offset temperature’ measured by the product.
Rotate the dial to select the temperature in the
range from +5.5°C to -5.5°C and press the
‘OK’ button to confirm the setting. Example: the
current room temperature is 20°C. However, the
product shows 22°C. The ‘offset temperature’
must be set to -2°C.
6. Factory settings
Press the ‘OK’ button. The display shows ‘ ’
for approx. three seconds. If you press the ‘OK’
button again within this time, all user settings are
reset to the factory settings.
7. Current valve position
Shows the current opening/closing degree of
the valve.
0% means closed, 100% means fully open. Press
the ‘OK’ button to display the valve position.
Press the ‘OK’ button again to return to the
menu.
Additional functions
Calcification prevention
The product carries out a ‘calcification preven-
tion run’ every Friday at 11:00 am to prevent the
radiator valves from calcifying.
Antifreeze
When the temperature drops to 4°C, the prod-
uct opens the radiator valve until the temperature
rises to 6°C again.
Heating pause
Set a heating pause if you do not want to heat
during the summer months.
1. Switch to manual mode (see Manual mode
chapter).
2. Rotate the dial (1f) to the right until the dis-
play (1b) shows ‘OFF’.
3. To reactivate the product, rotate the dial to the
left in manual mode until the display shows
‘ON’.
Child lock
• Press the ‘Time’ (1g) and ‘Menu’ (1d) buttons
simultaneously for approx. two seconds. ‘ ’
appears in the display and the child lock is
activated.
• To deactivate, press the ‘Time’ and ‘Menu’
buttons again simultaneously for approx. two
seconds. The ‘ ’ indicator goes out in the
display.
Battery indicator
The state of charge of the battery is shown as
battery indicator (1c) in the following states:
≥ 80% ≥ 60% ≥ 40% ≥ 20% < 20%
Disassembly
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
• Allow the radiator to cool down before assem-
bling, disassembling or troubleshooting.
• Wear working gloves.
1. Switch to manual mode (see Manual mode
chapter).
2. Rotate the dial (1f) to the left until the dis-
play (1b) shows ‘ON’.
Note: wait until the valve is completely open.
3. Loosen the union nut (1a) and disassemble the
product (1).
Storage, cleaning
When not in use, always store the product dry,
clean, without batteries and at room tempera-
ture.
Wipe clean with a dry cloth only.
IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with
harsh cleaning agents.
Disposal
The accompanying symbol indicates that
this device complies with Directive
2012/19/EU. This directive indicates
that you may not dispose of this device
along with basic household waste at the end of
its useful life and instead must hand it in to
specifically designated collection sites, valuable
substance collection stations, or waste disposal
facilities.
Look after the environment and dispose of waste
properly.
Batteries may not be disposed of with household
waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and
are subject to hazardous waste treatment. The
chemical symbols of the heavy metals are as fol-
lows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
Dispose of used batteries at a municipal collec-
tion site.
For further information about disposal of
the product no longer needed, contact
your local council. Dispose of the
product and the packaging in an
environmentally friendly manner. Store the
packaging materials (foil bags, for example) out
of the reach of children.
