Operation manual
Use the lamp only for the purpose it is designed for: as a lamp for illumination in dark
areas/outdoors.
Any other use of the lamp can cause damage to the lamp or cause hazard to the user and
itsenvironment(electricalshocks,re,shortcircuit,etc...)
Before use, rst read the Safety Instructions:
• The lamp is IP54 rated (protected against dust and splashing water)
• Protect batteries from extreme cold, heat and vibrations. Due to this, batteries can
signicantlyreduceincapacityorevenmalfunction.
• Always charge the lamp indoors, above 0 °C, and do not cover it during charging!
• Do not expose the lamp to temperatures exceeding 40 °C
• Always use supplied chargers. When using other chargers the lamp can malfunction.
Any warranty becomes void when using non-original chargers,
• Should the lamp malfunction, do not open, but have it checked by the importer, other-
wise any warranty on the product becomes void.
• Never disassemble the battery! Should the battery leak, avoid any contact with skin
and eyes. Rinse skin with water and soap. Rinse eyes thoroughly and consult a doctor.
• Itisprohibitedtomodifythe lamp inanyway;otherwiseanywarranty on thelamp
becomes void.
• Never shine the LED lamp directly into the eyes, this can cause eye injuries.
• Never charge the LED lamp if cables or the plug of the charger is/are damaged, always
buy new original chargers.
The importer accepts no liability for damage or consequential damage to persons or prop-
erty caused by failure to observe the above safety instructions.
Operating instructions:
• Charging should take place indoors, chargers are not splash proof, the area where
charging is performed must be well ventilated.
• First, connect the charger with the cable to the charging socket at the rear of the lamp,
only then connect to the mains!
• Chargeatleast6-8hoursforthersttime,whilechargingalwaysswitchothelamp.
• Preferably charge at room temperature, this takes the shortest time and is also better
for battery life.
• Thelampcanbecomewarmduringcharging(alwaysswitchothelampduringcharg-
ing)
• When charging of the lamp, the LED indicator on the lamp will be red, when it is fully
charged after about 3,5 hours, the LED indicator will be green (full).
• Whenthelampisfullycharged,rstdisconnectthechargerfromthemains,andthen
remove the cord of the charger from the lamp.
• Theon/oswitch(button)islocatedatthefrontofthelamp.Bymeansofthisbutton
youcanswitchon/otheashlightandportablelampfunction.
• Beforebatteryisrunningout,thelampashesseveraltimes.AfterthatthefrontLED
indicatesredlight.Thelampisstilllitby100%,butwithredashingLED!
• The lamp shuts down completely after a couple of minutes.
• Afterresettingashlight-function,itworksforapprox.10minutesinordertoleavea
dark room.
• Always store the lamp indoors, preferably at room temperature. The service life of the
batteries will then remain optimal.
• If the lamp is not used, charge at least 1 time per 3 months (preservation of the battery).
When using the LED lamp:
• The lamp can be suspended by means of integrated hook.
• The lamp can be hanged to the belt by means of a clip.
• The lamp has a powerful magnet in the support (three positions), so you can hang the
lampindierentpositionstometalobjects.
During maintenance:
• The lamp may not be charged!
• No aggressive cleaning detergents may be used.
• Clean the lamp preferably with a damp cloth (do not hold lamp under the water tap or
submerge)
After end of life:
• The lamp must not be disposed of with regular waste. The lamp should be taken to a
collection point (municipality) or the supplier. They must ensure that the lamp is pro-
cessed environmentally friendly.
