(1) Insert one AA battery into Battery Compartment 1 (8) and two AA batteries into Battery Compartment 2 (9), ensuring

the polarities are correct: “+” (plus) is positive and “−” (minus) is negative. Turn the Time Setting Knob (7) to set the current time.

(2) To ensure that the bird sound plays correctly, you must tell the clock whether the current time is during the day or at

night. Please proceed as follows:

Note: The clock is programmed with a silent period from 22:00 to 05:00 each day. (This function is activated only when the Function

Switch (3) is moved to the “CDS” position.) The setting applies from this time onwards.

If the current time is between 05:00 and 05:59, no action is needed.

If the current time is between 06:00 and 06:59, press the SET Button (5) once.

If the current time is between 07:00 and 07:59, press the SET Button (5) twice.

If the current time is between 08:00 and 08:59, press the SET Button (5) three times.

If the current time is between 09:00 and 09:59, press the SET Button (5) four times.

…

If the current time is between 04:00 and 04:59, press the SET Button (5) twenty-three times.

3. Function Switch (3):

Move the switch to the “ON” position: the clock (bird) will chime every hour throughout the day.

Move the switch to the “CDS” (Chime Designed System) position: the clock (bird) will chime every hour from 06:00 to 21:00.

Move the switch to the “OFF” position: the clock’s (bird’s) chiming will be turned off.

4. DEMO Button (4):

Press this button at any time to hear the sound play immediately.

5. Volume Switch (6):

This clock has three chiming sound levels: left (high), middle (low), and right (mute). Move the switch to the desired setting.
