1. The Warrantor of this product grants a 24-month warranty valid

from the date of purchase. If any defect is found, a complaint about

the product should be lodged at the point of purchase.

features described in the user’s manual due to intrinsic properties

of the device.

1. INTENDED USE

The device is intended for weighing small food products used for

the preparation of meals.

The device is intended for private household use indoors only. It

must not be used for professional purposes.

The scale is not suitable for weighing items heavier than 300 g (0.3

kg).

Following the instructions in this manual will ensure safe installa -

tion and use of the device.

Open the packaging and carefully take out the device. Inspect the set

for completeness and any damage. Check that the plastic parts are

not broken. If any parts are damaged or missing, contact the dealer

and do not use the device. Retain the packaging or dispose of it in

accordance with local regulations.

Note! For the sake of children’s safety, do not leave

any packaging materials accessible and unattended

(plastic bags, cardboard boxes, Styrofoam etc.). Risk of

suffocation!

7.1 Inserting and changing batteries

1. Make sure the scale is switched off.

2. Remove the battery compartment cover.

3. Remove the spent batteries (if present).

4. Insert two new AAA 1.5 V

batteries, paying attention to the

polarity symbols in the battery compartment.

• When “0.0 g” is shown on the display, the scale is ready for use.

• You may start weighing.

• Use the spoon to scoop something (e.g. spice) you want to weigh. If

there is too much product, pour some off. If there is too little product,

scoop some more.

• Once you have scooped the product, position the scale horizontally

and do not move it. The product weight will be shown on the display.

Note! The default unit of weight is grams.

• If you want to stop the measurement, press the HOLD button. The

weight reading will freeze and will not change if the scale is moved.

• Another method to freeze the product

• To switch off the scale, press the ON/OFF/TARE button and hold it

3 seconds.

• The scale will turn off automatically if idle for approximately 60

seconds.

7.3 Changing the weight units

• After switching on the scale you can change the weight unit using

the ∑/UNIT button. Press the ∑/UNIT button and hold it until the

• The current unit of the weight reading is shown on the display. When

you change the unit, the unit indicated on the display will change.

7.4 Resetting

After the scale is turned on, it resets automatically regardless of

the items placed on it. This function may be used for taring when

starting up the scale.

7.5 Taring

After turning the scale on, you can use the taring function to obtain

the weight of your product without its packaging. In order to do this,

h an empty package (e.g. a small container for spices), press

the ON/OFF/TARE button, wait until the displays shows 0, then we-

igh your product together with the package (e.g. the container with

the spice inside).

The correct weight with the application of taring is displayed if a

vertical line is shown below the TARE text.

7.6 Indicators on the display
