Dear Customer,
All electrical and mechanical equipment needs to be cared for and stored appropriately. It’s
important to note that using or storing the stylers in certain conditions may adversely affect their
lifespan and functionality. Always protect the stylers from the conditions listed below.
Using or storing the stylers in a wet, humid or damp environment can result in:
- deterioration and premature aging of the cover and electric insulation of the stylers,
- premature wearing and aging of plastic and rubber components,
- rust and corrosion affecting electrical components and metal parts.
Direct sunlight shining on the stylers may result in:
- accelerated deterioration of the styler’s casing and plastic and rubber components,
deterioration in strength and other structural flaws. The styler’s surface may become
porous and fragile, which may result in a safety risk.
Storing the stylers in a cold or frosty environment may result in:
- damage to the plastic and rubber components; if they become fragile,
this may result in a safety risk.
- oxidation resulting from condensation, and corrosion of the metal components.
Following the operating instructions and avoiding any of the conditions listed above will help to
increase the lifespan of the stylers. The manufacturer is not responsible if the appliance is stored
inappropriately or contrary to these instructions. We recommended that the stylers be serviced
regularly by an authorised engineer for maximum lifespan.
Keep your environment clean! At life-end, the stylers should not be disposed of with your
domestic waste. Doing so may result in pollution to wildlife and danger to human health. Please
send the stylers to an approved centre for recycling or environmentally friendly disposal of
electrical goods. Before disposing of the stylers, cut the power cable from the device. (Do not
forget to dispose of the cable in an environmentally friendly way too!)
You may wish to contact the retailer or the manufacturer if you are unable to find convenient local
recycling facilities as they have some legal responsibilities for recycling electrical products.
• Please avoid using the appliance in any place where it would be subjected to high temperatures, low
temperatures, physical shocks or vibration. The appliance is designed to be operated and stored in a situation
where temperatures are between +5° and +40° Celsius. Do not use the appliance in a wet or humid
environment.
• If your appliance is damaged or operates in an abnormal way, immediately stop using it and take it to an
authorised service engineer for checking, repair or adjustment.

apply commonsense precautions when using the appliance in a situation that isn’t described below.
• Never use the appliance outdoors.
• This device is not supposed to be used by physically or mentally handicapped people, or persons without
experience or knowledge (including children, as well), unless such a person supervises or guides their use of
the device, who is at the same time responsible for their safety. As for children, supervision is recommended
to make sure that they do not play with the device. This device is not supposed to be used by children under
the age of 14, not even with supervision!
• Never use an appliance or accessory that the manufacturer did not supply with or propose for use with the
appliance. The use of such appliances might lead to accidents or irregular function.
• Ensure that the stylers do not drop or fall, or roll off a surface they have been placed on.
• When connected to a car cigar lighter, be aware that prolonged use may cause the car battery to drain due to
the high power consumption. Ensure that the car engine is running when the stylers are plugged in.
• Do not use the stylers while driving. Use only when the car is parked safely.
• Don’t use the stylers in the presence of explosive or inflammable gases, vapours or liquids.
