Thank you for choosing this ALPINA home appliance. Your Alpina appliance comes with a 2 year warranty and will

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed:

1. Read all instructions carefully.

2. Make sure the power supply corresponds to one on the rating label.

3. To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse electrical parts in water or other liquid.

4. Do not allow children to operate or play with the appliance.

5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, or before putting on/taking off parts.

6. Do not use with damaged electrical cord or plug.

7. If damaged or malfunction occurs, refer to an authorized service center only.

8. Do not place on or near hot surfaces.

9. Never pull the appliance by the power cord.

10. Do not use the appliance for other than intended household use.

NOTE: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction by a person

who is responsible for their safety concerning the use of the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that

they do not play with the appliance.

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place the appliance on a clean and level surface and away from flammable things.

2. To add some coffee powder or tea during operation, always turn the power off before refilling.

3. If there is no water in the water tank, switch the power off. Note: Do not switch on if the water tank is empty.

4. Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

1. For the first time use, fill the glass carafe with mix white vinegar and cold water, pour the mixture into the water

tank and bring to boil, pour out the mixture and repeat the process until no yellow liquid comes out if necessary.

Then fill the water tank with tap water only and brew until no vinegar odor is left.

2. Lift up the water tank lid and fill in with clean water to the required level.

3. Put adequate coffee powder in the filter and place it back in the filter basket.

4. Ensure that the glass carafe is placed properly on its position.

5. Insert the mains plug into the wall socket and switch it on, the indicator lights up and start working.

6. When the coffee is ready, turn off the device and then remove the glass cup.

7. Keeping the glass carafe on the hot plate will keep your coffee/tea warm.

Warning:

This appliance is equipped with a grounded 2-pin power supply cord. This is a safety feature. Do not attempt to

defeat the safety purpose of this plug.

Danger of scalding:

Please use caution when using this coffee maker. The steam emitted from this aperture can be very hot.
