Thank you for choosing this ALPINA home appliance. Your Alpina appliance comes with a 2 year warranty and will provide

will continue to make ALPINA your first choice in home appliances.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed:

1. Read all instructions carefully.

2. Make sure the power supply corresponds to one on the rating label.

3. To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse electrical parts in water or other liquid.

4. Do not allow children to operate or play with the appliance.

5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, or before putting on/taking off parts.

6. Do not use with damaged electrical cord or plug.

7. If damaged or malfunction occurs, refer to an authorized service center only.

8. Do not place on or near hot surfaces.

9. Never pull the appliance by the power cord.

10. Do not use the appliance for other than intended household use.

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

1. Close supervision is necessary when the product is used near children.

2. Do not twist or wrap the power cord around the appliance, as it may weaken or split the insulation, particularly where it

enters the unit. Store excess cable by winding it into the base.

3. Do not allow the unit or cable to touch hot surfaces such as hot plates or grills.

4. Avoid contacting on moving parts.

5. Allow the blade to stop from rotating before removing the lid.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove all packaging materials/sticker before using the appliance for the first time.

2. Place the appliance on a clean & level surface.

3. Pull the cable from the base. Grip the cable –not the plug.Maximum length is 80 cm. DO NOT PULL IF ANY

RESTRICTION IS FELT.

4. Remove the lid and fill with required amount of coffee beans. Maximum quantity is 28 gr. (approximate 4 dessert

spoons), DO NOT OVERFILL. It is better to use 2 or 3 times to grind the required amount.

5. Replace the lid. Ensure the switch knob on the lid fits into the corresponding recess in the motor housing.

6. Hold the lid in position. Press the switch knob on the lid to activate the switch and grind the coffee until the desired

fineness is reached. (approximate 15 –30 seconds) DO NOT OPERATE THE COFFEE GRINDER FOR MORE THAN

30 SECONDS.

7. When grinding is finished, release the switch, unplug the appliance from the mains, remove the lid and empty the bowl.

ALLOW THE BLADE TO STOP FROM ROTATING BEFORE REMOVING THE LID.

8. Never operate the coffee grinder when empty. After each use, allow it to cool for 1 –2 minutes before re-use.

Warning:

This appliance is equipped with a grounded, Type G, 3-pin power supply cord. This is a safety feature. Do not attempt to

defeat the safety purpose of this plug.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged from electrical outlet before cleaning.

2. Wipe the outside body of the appliance with damp cloth.

3. DO NOT IMMERSE THE UNIT, OR FILL THE GRINDING CHAMBER WITH WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

4. To store, wind the cable into the base by holding the base in one hand and turning the top on a clockwise direction.
